The 2wd Pan Class is
back and back in a big way. Available as rolling chassis or in
Combo Vintage trim, the P8C brings simplicity to 1/8th cars and
returns fun to on road nitro racing. The Combo Vintage kit
includes a Novarossi based 3 port engine, header and pipe.
With an oil filled gear diff in the rear, the fixed suspension
design provides a simple platform for high speed
competitive racing. |

The steering servo and
servo saver are both mounted to the front plate which allows the
steering and front end to work independently of the main
chassis. This provides accurate steering response and balanced
chassis flex.
Caster adjustment is quick, easy, and precise with the new hub
mounts. The front plate is mounted to the 7075 chassis plate via
elastomer discs, in 2 shores, for varying front end flex.

The Motonica PHS concept
'Progressive Hardening System' is evident with the use of 2
stiffener plates which allow varying adjustment of the chassis
stiffness and in turn an increase or decrease in rear grip.
In addition, the exhaust support is linked to the center tray
mount, placing the movement and weight of the exhaust pipe on
the middle part of the car without influencing the handling of
the P8C.

Borrowing from the
P8.0R, the front and rear hubs allow for toe, camber, and width
adjustment. With many parts borrowed from the P81 and P8.0R,
parts support is widely available. An adjustable axial 4 shoe is
included and mated to a fixed single spur gear.
Visit the support page for P8C downloads, and take a forward
leap back in time with the P8C.
